TeddyWe are committed to supporting foster and adoptive parents in achieving safety, permanence, and well-being for the children and youth in their care through education, advocacy, and other community, state, and national resources.

Association Meetings for 2018
Meetings are by invitation only.  They are held monthly, taking place usually on the third Thursday in the Central Marietta Area. November and December meetings may be scheduled differently, due to holiday commitments.
Arrive at 5:30 pm for socializing and networking. Dinner service will begin at 5:30 pm.  Childcare will be provided for children of all ages.  Foster parents receive 2 hours of training for attending meetings (except at the Christmas meeting since this is a party). We will have training for appropriate aged children during certain months, so keep an eye out for that! We love to see new faces, we welcome your suggestions and value all input!

Attention Foster Parents:
A volunteer group in Cobb County has donated "Bags of Love" for foster children. Each bag, which doubles as a duffel or laundry bag, is filled with a stuffed animal, blanket/quilt, books and small toys. Please take a "Bag of Love" from the storage closet just outside the FTM room the next time you're in the DFCS office for an FTM meeting or a family visit.
